Skin Graft Building

The work was exhibited in Acerbunundrum at the Ballroom Projects.

The work contains a medium aquarium that grows Kombucha in it. The pedestal is a shelving unit that contains all the needed materials in order to grow more and to dry the culture. The dried culture can be used as fabric with consistency similar to leather, but appearance closer to human skin.

Viewers were invited to harvest a starter from the kombucha mother, and given the supplies to grow and dry their own skin. The site of the exhibition was transformed to be a reproductive organ.
